What’s your background?

Born in San Diego and growing up in Norway, I’ve been given a unique perspective on the world. I grew up wandering through beautiful forests and daydreamed about dangerous creatures and magic that lived in the woods and mountains. Now, living in Los Angeles I still catch my mind wandering through those Norwegian woods.

What’s your background?

I grew up on the South Hill of Spokane, Washington with my mom, dad, brother, and our two cats. As an adult I attended college at the University of Washington Bothell Campus and then left to study art at Washington State University. What’s your background?

I’m a student in communication and graphic design from Germany, aspiring to become a freelance illustrator. I mainly work digitally with my genre of choice mostly being fantasy/gothic. I live in a small town between Bonn and Cologne, right next to the forest and the “Wahner Heide,” a big heathland.

Encounters with the Imaginary vol 2 is now on kickstarter!  This book is an illustration and creative writing anthology inspired by the imaginary—from beloved myths, legends and folktales to new creatures and stories! The result is a fantastic body of work from each artist, created specifically for this volume.
